Hi, I’m Caitriona McKenna, your Perinatal Educator.

I am mother of two - 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy. I am a registered nurse of over 11 years, working in a local hospital, specialising in Gynaecology.

I attended an Antenatal workshop with my husband before having our first child, we really enjoyed it and learnt so much, we felt so prepared for birth.

I am fascinated by everything pregnancy and baby-related, so I decided to train with The Daisy Foundation and became a Perinatal Educator, covering everything from Antenatal to Postnatal.

 I am so passionate about supporting and educating women and parents, giving them confidence to make informed choices for their pregnancy, birth and care of their little one. It is often said that it ‘takes a village to raise a child’ - at the Workshops I provide an opportunity for you to meet other local parents/soon-to-be parents, build relationships, share experiences and gain knowledge, but most of all, enjoy the journey together. 

I have created a comfortable and relaxed Studio at my house, a perfect setting for you and your birthing partner to learn all you need for the arrival of your little bundle.
